A Small World of Ice and Mystery
The phrase "frozen puddle" doesn't inspire us much if we don't actually pay attention to it, does it? What struck me is the multiple elements in this picture that nature created, and my eyes kept moving back and forth between each of them - the tiny frozen bubbles, the delicate ice cracks framing the white vortex, and the mysterious sticks that seem like primitive calligraphy. The frozen elements also seem a bit like a window - as if they created a strange world that we could peer into. The lichen off to the right of the ice world lies above the ice, a bit of living greenery that is surviving the chill, seemingly to thrive.
Perhaps you might notice the mysterious and yet ordinary world that surrounds us. With your iPhone or other modern phone that you have with you, you can practice capture the unique, mysterious, or practical aspects of the world around you. Seeing the world this way becomes both a game and an artistic way to experience this world in a deeper and more enchanting way. Enjoy yourself, and feel free to share your unique images with other people in the comments area below. You're also welcome to post comments about any of my other posts of the past.
